Bavaria has big plans. The shipyard is currently starting to build the C57, the largest yacht from Giebelstadt with an overall length of 16.73 metres. The plans for the C57 were drawn up by Maurizio Cossutti and mark Bavaria's departure from Farr Yacht Design. A first drawing shows the massive appearance with huge hull windows. The superstructure is glazed all round, i.e. at the sides and the front. It is steered by twin rudders and two wheels in the spacious cockpit. According to the shipyard, there will be two retractable cockpit tables - this should create more space for guests if required. Apparently, this space has also been included in the 88 square metres of living space stated by the shipyard. From a purely mathematical point of view, this is not just below deck.
As standard, the C57 comes with three cabins, an owner's cabin in the bow and two guest cabins aft. There will also be a four- and five-cabin version. There is also the option of dividing the bow cabin into two. There is also space for a cabin with bunk beds between the aft cabin to starboard and the saloon. This can also be converted into a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
The C57 should be ready by boot in Düsseldorf, where it will be presented to the public for the first time. A price is not yet known.
